Mary is one of the Farm School Humanities Guides. She was born and raised in Lakewood, Colorado and actually graduated from Compass Montessori High School in Golden. Mary’s passion for education encouraged her to pursue English Education at the University of Northern Colorado. She has been working in DPS since February of 2016 in the Montebello Community, and recently came back to her Montessori roots by joining DMHS this year! Mary strives to help students learn responsibility and become autonomous while finding their own passions in life. Outside of the classroom, Mary enjoys ultimate frisbee, drawing, being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and traveling as much as she can.
