Our innovative school model is grounded in the belief that there is an Art & Science approach to teaching and learning. The science aspect is that we believe in following all of the State and/or National standards in core content (ie; Common Core State Standards) and social emotional learning (ie; CASEL standards). With our foci on Talent Development (Universal Gifted Instruction) and Identity Development (Montessori Planes of Development) we also follow a teaching & learning approach that is grounded in the practice, pedagogy of Montessori and Gifted education. The art approach is that we develop our curriculum using the science aspect mentioned above with research-based practices & the personality and skill set that each our educators bring to our school community.
