We are very creative in how we approach the student experience for both our middle and high school students. Our small student populations allows us to customize and adapt to student need and interest fairly quickly. Over the course of the year students will able to take parent in four clubs that are student interest based but sponsored by adults. Both Middle and High School students will experience traditional comprehensive school experiences like Field Trips, Spirit Days, Dances, Art and Music Performances, Homecoming events, Pep Rallies and more!
In addition to all the things listed above there are a couple of student life experiences that are specific to the high school. Our international trip in the spring is available to all 9th-12th graders. Over past three years we have gone to Italy, Spain and Peru and this year we are headed to Greece.
All of our 9th-12th graders are able to attend Homecoming, Prom and After Prom events. These students will also take part in our Campus Tours of college and university programs both in and out of state. Our 9th-12th graders also have off campus lunch as well. There are also student-athlete experience where they can join sports teams at North High School. We have students that take part in fall, winter and spring sports that are offered at North.
Our Upperclassmen (Juniors and Seniors) go on a fall trip into the mountains. Our Seniors have a spring trip and a Senior Experience class their last year to prep them for graduation and post secondary life.
