Lauren grew up in West Michigan and graduated with her BA in Psychology from Kalamazoo College in 2011. She spent 2 years living in bustling NYC taking some time off to find what she is truly passionate about. She moved to Denver in 2013 to complete her Education Specialist degree in Child, Family, and School Psychology at the University of Denver. Lauren started at DMHS in 2015 as a School Psychologist Intern and is incredibly grateful to have stayed with DMHS since then. Lauren is passionate about building relationships with the people in our school community, including staff, students, and families, in order to create the kind of school that feels like a second home. She is committed to advocating for a school where everyone feels safe, supported, and celebrated. In her free time, Lauren enjoys playing soccer, woodworking, camping, gardening, attending live concerts and shows, and playing games with friends and family.
