Jessica Perry has taught visual arts in a variety of educational settings in NY, MA, RI and CO. In 2014 she was awarded RI’s Outstanding Art Teacher of The Year in the Special Needs category. Jessica graduated in 2004 from SUNY Buffalo with a degree in art education. In 2008 she completed her M.ED. at Lesley University’s creative arts and learning program in Cambridge, MA. Artistically she has shown her paintings in various gallery settings. Jessica enjoys yoga, nature, painting, gallery hopping and most of all road trips with her son and dog. She is excited to build a vibrant art program that will foster creativity, encourage collaboration and grow a strong arts community at DMHS.
