Jess is returning for her second year as a Math Guide and GT Coordinator at DMHS! She has been happily married for sixteen years and has two daughters, two dogs, and a cat. Her hobbies include home improvement projects, crafting, traveling, and spending time with family. This will be her sixteenth year of teaching in Colorado! She loves working with diverse populations, learning about different cultures, and guiding students through service learning projects related to political action and/or social justice. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree from Mary Washington College, with a double-major in Chemistry and Biology, a Masters degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Secondary Education, a Masters degree from Adams State University in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education, and a Certificate from NAMTA/AMI - Montessori Orientation to Adolescent Studies. She is thrilled to continue to be a part of the DMHS team!
